This year:
I have run 138 times.
1003.5 miles.
3 races.
Signed up for 3 more.
Lost 3 toe nails.
Lost my job (but still got 4 miles in that afternoon).
Got chased by 4 dogs.
Jumped over 5 snakes.
Did 720 lunges.
Bought 3 pairs of running shoes.
Read Once a Runner 3 times; Again to Carthage twice, and Born to Run once.
Beat my brother once.  Lost to him...more than once.
